Process Architect

The Process Architect will own the quality of decision making and related material for Industrial and Interaction design team and work closely with design and architecture team leaders to structure and design relevant processes and information flows. At its heart, the job is about clarifying complex and infinite choices into actionable scenarios, options, systems and decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee a multi-year design team roadmap
  • Facilitate requirements clarification and definition for design team
  • Build processes for cross-functional collaboration alignment between design team and other Samara project teams (engineering, research, business, and others)
  • Help design team stay on track and anticipate cross-functional dependencies
  • Act as an ambassador for clarity, effectiveness and thoughtful approach to decision making

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in product management / system architecture / product design
  • Proven ability to take complex projects from concept to definition
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve from the first principles
  • Sensitive to qualities of great design, quality and clarity
  • Ability to articulate both tangible and intangible value of products and services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Great collaboration skills
